DESCRIPTION:Join NYSSCA members from across the state on Saturday\, March 18 for our virtual Advocacy Summit format. Hear from experts and NYSSCA advocates on critical issues facing students\, educators\, families and schools while learning the ‘How To’ of advocacy! NYSSCA will also be scheduling meetings with State legislators. If you are willing to participate in these meetings\, please indicate that in the last question on the registration form. We will be scheduling lobby meetings and training prior to the scheduled legislator appointments. Virtual Legislator visits will generally be held during business hours\, depending upon the legislator’s schedule. While these are optional meetings\, they are a great opportunity for NYSSCA members to meet with policymakers to share their experiences relative to the 2023 Advocacy Summit key issues.
