Principals & School Counselors Series-SCHOOL COUNSELING REGULATIONS 101

Building principals and their school counselors will unpack each of the basic components on the NYSED amended school counseling regulations (2017) and explore the opportunities and challenges to implement with fidelity. The session will review building your comprehensive school counseling program, reviewing your school counseling mission and vision statements, utilizing the American School Counselor Association’s (ASCA) Student Standards: Mindsets and Behaviors for Student Success, and how to utilize program mapping to organize activities and outcomes.
